Kyle Palmer, EdD, is the former principal of Lewis and Clark Elementary in Liberty, Missouri. He is a passionate believer in the power of PLCs and uses his expertise to help schools build collaborative cultures to improve student learning.
Kyle Palmer, EdD, is the award-winning former principal of Lewis and Clark Elementary in Liberty, Missouri.
Kyle is a passionate believer in the power of professional learning communities (PLCs) and uses his leadership experience and expertise to help schools build collaborative cultures to improve student learning for all. Kyle firmly believes in identifying and encouraging future leaders to help grow the capacity of the learning organization.
Kyle was named the Distinguished Principal for the Clay-Platte region of the Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals in 2013 and won the New Principal Award from the same region in 2009. Under his leadership, Lewis and Clark Elementary was designated as a Model PLC at WorkⓇ school by Solution Tree, as well as an International Center for Leadership in Education (ICLE) Model School in 2015, 2016, and 2017. Kyle is currently the executive director of human resources in the Center School District.
Kyle received his bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Northern Iowa, his master’s degree in education leadership from Drake University, and his doctorate in education leadership from Baker University.
